Te Kohaka o Tuhaitara

Ko au te taiao, ko te taiao ko au

Our year 6's have a great opportunity to work within our local environment. We meet with Greg from Te Kohaka o Tuhaitara to help with tasks around the walkways and waterways. These tasks involve setting pest traps, weeding around the pa harakeke, taking water samples from local waterways and simply learning about what it takes to look after our environment. We also pick rubbish up from along the beach.
